Easter

We started off the Easter Break by trying to get Katelyn to go see the Easter Bunny. She got all dressed up in her pretty dress and we did her hair.. Well all that for NOTHING. She was scared of the Easter Bunny. She started screaming crying as soon as she saw him. So we decided we weren't going to make her sit in his lap if she didn't want to.. So when he took a break we took a picture of her in his chair. that is as close as she would get.

Katelyn's cousin Knox at Church. Isn't he precious? We wanted to get a picture of Katelyn and Knox together but Katelyn wasn't having it.. she was so tired.. thank gosh she took a nap during sunday school.


We had Michael's family over for Easter lunch and an Easter Egg hunt for the younger kids. We cooked out burgers and hotdogs. We missed Erin, Chris, Reed, Tina, Benjie, Peyton, and Knox. We will have to do it again soon. We had alot of fun. Thanks everyone for coming.

My new niece

Katelyn and I went to Madison on Wednesday afternoon b/c my sister was having her little girl on Thursday. She was born Thursday morning around 9 (Kimberly had to have an emergency csection). Taylor Olivia was 6 lbs 11 oz and 19 3/4 inches long. She looks just like her brother Brayden did when he was born. She is so beautiful. And so far she is very quiet.. not fussy at all. We stayed in Madison until Sunday so we could spend as much time with Taylor as we could because we probably won't be back until the end of May. We also got to spend alot of time with Nana and Paw Paw. Katelyn has changed Papaws name to "Paw Paw".. She had the best time with them and her cousin Brayden. We had such a great time.

Happy Early Easter
Since we won't see my parents on Easter this year they gave Katelyn her Easter basket early. She liked the pack of M&M's the best. Thanks Nana and Pawpaw for everything you do.. We love you!!

Just Hanging out

These are just some pictures from the past week.. The weather has been beautiful so we have been spending some time at the park. Katelyn also got to hang out with her friend Kadie.

Buffalo Park

Michael and I took Katelyn to Buffalo Park in Tupelo on Friday. We went in the morning and it was really chilly. She wasn't really that into it but as time went by she liked it more and more. Things she didn't like ... the Bear scared her to death.. and she wasn't big on the giraffe. I figured she would love the giraffe but it scared her too..She loved the bus ride and loved the zebras.. she wouldn't feed them but she waved to them and said "Bye Bye zeeba"

Going to Gam and Grampys

Over the spring break we went to Gam and Grampy's (Michael's Grandparents). We had a great time getting to see Granny (Michael's mom) and Gam and Grampy and all of our nieces and nephews. They also suprised me with a birthday cake and balloons. It was really sweet of them.

My dad (Papaw) came to visit on Tuesday on his way to Arkansas. Katelyn had such a great visit. She was a little confused on where Nana was. She is so used to always seeing them together. The weather was beautiful so we played outside and had a great time. She loves her Papaw so much. She was in the best mood the whole time he was here. Come back and visit again soon Papaw. We love you.
